Natural Root Walking Stick with Bird Gargoyle Head, Folk Art Hiking Stick
$125.00
A one-of-a-kind walking stick formed by nature itself. The root head was never carved — it grew this way, into the uncanny likeness of a bird, a horned creature, a gargoyle. Turn it in the light and the face keeps changing: beak, horns, and watchful brow, all in warm natural wood with a smooth, worn shaft and a metal tip.
A true piece of folk sculpture — as much art as walking stick. Wonderful in a mountain cabin, lodge, or rustic entryway, standing in a corner or hung on the wall beside other walking sticks and canes. No two exist; this is the only one.
Measures 38 inches long; the head is 8 inches wide and 3 inches deep.
