Folk Art Wood and Gesso Mountain Lion by Thomas Dimmitt, Berthoud CO
$900.00
A wood-carved mountain lion with gesso and paint finish by Thomas Dimmitt of Berthoud, Colorado (1902–1991). Dimmitt was a noted Colorado folk artist; pieces like this are full of character. Note that these pieces are not perfect and have been repainted a few times over the years — priced accordingly. A wonderful fit for a lodge, cabin, or rustic den, on a mantel, bookshelf, or side table. Great for collectors of Colorado and Western folk art.
